Shipping within the USA is free with USPS Priority Mail (generally 2-4 days duration after it is shipped). If you want Priority Mail Express (1-2 days), additional cost will be calculated at checkout.

Remy human hair is generally higher quality hair.  It has intact hair cuticles and all the hair is going in the same direction.  It was cut from the donor as a pony tail to ensure the hair is going in the same direction before incorporating it into a wig.

Non-remy is hair that does not have its roots and tips traveling in the same direction. Therefore, the hair tends to tangle rather badly.

Strictly speaking Virgin hair has never been colored, permed or otherwise chemically treated. If someone claims to sell Virgin hair and it has highlights or otherwise been dyed then it’s no longer Virgin hair!  None of my wigs are Virgin since they’ve been colored.

It is pretty much what it says (hopefully), but it does not say anything about the quality of the hair or if the cuticle is intact.

Yes, it can.  Just look on eBay or Amazon which have plenty of cheap human hair out there. Believe me that is not the kind of hair I sell here. In my opinion, it is low quality hair which has been chemically stripped and tends to be frizzy. These wigs don't last long. Basically you get what you pay for it.

Lace Top Wigs have a top or crown of the wig that has hair tied into lace. The advantage is that it generally lies flat on your head and is more "breathable" than some other types of wigs.

The back of the cap has hair wefts sewn into it. The cap has a fair amount of stretch and it has adjustable hooks to change the sizing. The ear tabs usually have small clips sewn in to attach to your own "bio" hair. The lace itself is not stretchy. 

There is free parting in the entire lace/crown area.

Silk top refers to the top or crown of the wig or the "scalp" area. Silk top (sometimes referred to as "skin top") wigs have a very realistic looking scalp. The knots that have been tied into the wig are buried under the skin simulating material, and it therefore looks as if the hair is growing directly out of the scalp.

Silk top wigs can have a lace front or no lace front.

Medical caps refer to wigs that have material sewn into the inside of the cap that create traction and keep the wig in place. The traction of silicone works best on bald heads, but it does also work on bio hair. These materials are usually either silicone (for traction) or PU (polyurethane). PU is also frequently used to apply double sided sticky tape. Medical wigs can be silk top, silk top with lace front or lace top wigs.

Many traditional Jewish women wear head coverings after they get married. They may be wearing hats or scarves or wigs, often referred to as sheitels. If a wig has a “Kosher” label inside the cap, it is rabbinically certified making them kosher and fully compliant with all halachic requirements. I do not work on these wigs on Shabbat or Jewish holidays. As a side note, these wigs tend to have very high-quality hair.

That’s a tricky one. Different wig factories have different definitions and scales. Sometimes 10A is highest quality available and sometimes it is 6A or something completely differently named that is the highest quality. I have spent some time to try out different wigs from different wig factories and I know high quality when I see and feel it. I also wash it with clarifying shampoo to wash off silicone the factory may have applied that makes any hair look shiny and smooth, and I see if the hair holds up after washing. It has been through a lot of trial and error that I have found hair that I call “high” or “highest” quality. I do not sell any hair that is not high quality.

There is no actual definition of the different hair textures and it can vary from one wig factory to another.

In the end all the hair I sell has been harvested in China/Asia. There are different hair textures (other than straight and wavy) I sell. There is “European” and “Russian” texture and “Brazilian” and “Mongolian” texture. This does not mean that “Brazilian” hair is harvested in Brazil or “European” hair harvested in Europe, but rather that these names refer to the hair texture they are most consistent with. European and Russian hair is most consistent with the finer European hairs and Mongolian and Brazilian hair texture are generally a bit coarser or thicker. I will be referring to “European texture” rather than European hair in my product descriptions. True European hair will cost $2000 or more and the whole point of my website is to sell affordable wigs.
 

Yes, all the wigs I sell have free parting in the crown area. The part is best changed by wetting the hair, no need to wash the entire wig, and sometimes using the aid of a hair clip.

Bea’s bobs wigs should last you at least1-2 years with proper care. Frequent washings shorten the wig’s lifespan.  Therefore, I don’t recommend frequent washing. I wash my wigs maybe once a month or less depending on how often I wear them. Using heat on the hair will also shorten its lifespan. While you can certainly sleep in your wig, it is not recommended since this also negatively affects longevity.

Small: 20.5-21.5” circumference

Medium: circumference 21.5-22.5” these will fit most heads.

Large: 22.5-23.5” circumference

Most of my wigs will be medium size.

Some sizes may run small or large and it will be noted in the wig description if that is the case.

To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline.
